ServiceLink was started by an automotive enthusiast. This enthusiast who designed ServiceLink was extremely busy and found that the entire interaction in getting a car serviced, even with the most competent of dealerships, was an awful experience. There was a tremendous amount of time wasted throughout the process and it was very frustrating. There was horrible communication with the dealerships, all the software tools were difficult to use and the user experience was dreadful. This designer simply could not believe that he could track a package that he ordered all the way from Honk Kong, yet he had no idea what was going on with his vehicle just 2 miles away. Thus, GLA was born…
ServiceLink was developed by putting some of the top industry insiders who have all been in the business for decades, into the same room to create a focus group that did a 2-year study on how to solve the problems service departments are facing in today’s world. The result was an ingeniously and highly intuitive suite of software that is the ServiceLink Software Suite.
